SPOTLIGHT: Jessica S.
Jessica, a second-year biochemistry major, knows how to enjoy her free time when she’s not studying to become a high school chemistry teacher. Whether she’s at Hogwarts (via Universal Studios) sipping a creamy butterbeer or at a trendy dessert spot enjoying a flower-shaped ice cream (say what?), the one thing this Bakersfield native appreciates most about living in SoCal is the wide variety of things to do during her free time.
However, like the rest of us, she equally enjoys staying in to work on that Netflix queue. What’s she watching? Right now, it’s all about getting through the final episodes of The Vampire Diaries just before Game of Thrones makes its return.
